Today was a good day!
Today my husband said that he wanted to go to the store and asked me to go with him. Well, he took the wrong turn and I asked him why he turned there and he said "oops I got in the wrong lane". It wasn't until we turned into the restaurant parking lot did i realize that he was taking me out to lunch. AWWWWW!!!! How sweet!!!! Well when we left the restaurant we discovered that our van's passenger window window didn't work. So when we got home he took the door panel off and found out the power window motor was bad and needed to be replaced. OUCH!!! Its $100 for this part!! But he thought we needed it so I could have air when in the van because I don't like to use the A/C. So we took out the old together. It was the first project we have done together without wanting to kill each other. LOL We still need to finish putting the door panel back together because it started to rain. So, in spite of having to spend the unexpected $100 it was a really good day.

Wow! I think it is pretty awesome to be surprised with being taken out to lunch...but even better that a couple can work together without arguing.
Too many times I have had to walk away from my partner when we have been working on things together because he just wants to argue with me.
Funny thing is...when I don't help him...something goes wrong....extra part, something put in the wrong place, something assembled upside down. LOL
That is what our arguments would be about...because I would try to stop him from making a mistake and he thought he was right. LOL

That was actually the first project we have done together that we didnt want to seriously hurt each other! LOL
